Had for some time, wanted a quilt but without knowing where or how to go about getting one. Luckily I have a workplace friend whose wife (Leora Strong) makes quilts (having all the necessary equipment to produce them of any size).

I met with Leora and discussed with her my thoughts on what I’d like see in a quilt. Having a closet abundant in extra clothing, I provided her with my selection of dress shirts, pants, vests, and jackets that I wasn’t using anymore. I also had found a fabric online that I really was drawn too and purchased it for the back side of the quilt.

Leora was exceedingly helpful, and open to my choices and made the discovery process and exchange of ideas the best part of having a quilt produced. When I finally got to see the finished quilt, it exceeded my expectations. She had use a Carpenter Square pattern in the quilt, knowing I used a Carpenter Square in my wood working.

I use the quilt frequently for naps and my dog loves to take naps on it too. Leora’s design esthetic choices were exceptional. I gave her complete control over all the aspects of making it. Frankly, I like the quilt more now than the day I got it.

I would recommend Leora for her quilting skills, design choices, especially her interactions guiding me in order to understand what wanted in a quilt.
